These Terms govern your use of empirestatehaymarket.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to them.
What we are
Empire State Haymarket is a listing marketplace that connects hay buyers and sellers in New York. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not grow, inspect, deliver, or guarantee any hay, equipment, job, or event listed on the Site.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account.
Listings & content
You are responsible for content you post and confirm you have the right to post it. You must not post false, misleading, unlawful, or spam content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a license to display it on the Site.
Buying & selling
Buyers and sellers deal directly with each other. Inspect hay, confirm quality and quantity, and agree on price, payment, and delivery before exchanging money. We recommend the safety practices on our Help & Safety page.
Premium membership
Premium is an optional paid subscription offering enhanced visibility and features. Fees, billing, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. You can cancel future renewals at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Prohibited use
No scraping, spamming, fraud, harassment, circumventing security, or using the Site for anything unlawful.
Disclaimers
The Site and all listings are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant the accuracy of listings or the conduct of users.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empire State Haymarket is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dealings between users. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
